Transfer Zonal Candidate GVI Tasks
When you are working with a standard zonal analysis, you have the option to copy properties from an existing task in the current project that has been marked as a zonal inspection program (ZIP) candidate. To do this, choose Zones > Tasks > Transfer Zonal Candidate Tasks.
The Transfer Zonal Candidate GVI Tasks window displays a list of general visual inspection (GVI) tasks in the current project that have been marked as "Yes" for the ZIP Candidate property. If desired, you can use the options at the top of the window to filter the list as follows:
- MSI Analysis: Only show tasks from an aircraft systems and powerplant analysis.
- SSI Analysis: Only show tasks from an aircraft structural analysis.
- EZAP Analysis: Only show tasks from an enhanced zonal analysis.
- L/HIRF Analysis: Only show tasks from a lightning/high intensity radiated field (L/HIRF) analysis. This option is available only in non-LHSI projects (i.e., projects using one of the MSG-3 guidelines that do not support identification of L/HIRF Significant Items). In LHSI projects, it is expected that L/HIRF analysis will be performed after zonal analysis, so L/HIRF tasks are not candidates for transfer.
- All Analyses: Show applicable tasks from any of the above.
Use the options in the Available Zones to choose from area to specify whether you want to choose tasks from the current zone only or from all zones. Note that this does not apply to L/HIRF and EZAP analyses where you can import tasks from the current zone only.
When you select one or more tasks and click OK, the properties will be copied from the original task record to create a new (completely independent) task. The original task will remain unchanged.
