MIL-217 Predictions

This chapter focuses on the software features that apply specifically to using the MIL-217 prediction standard. For general information about using the prediction folio for any type of standard (e.g., how to create folios, build system configurations, etc.), see Prediction Folios.

The MIL-HDBK-217F standard (Reliability Prediction of Electronic Equipment) was published by the US Department of Defense in 1991. It provides reliability prediction models for electronic components in commercial and military applications. Lambda Predict supports both the part stress and parts count calculation methods defined in the prediction standard.
