General Full Factorial Designs
General full factorial designs allow you to consider all combinations of up to 7 factors at up to 20 levels each. It is not required that all factors have the same number of levels. If there are many factors with more than two levels, the number of runs for a general full factorial design may be prohibitively large. In such cases, Taguchi orthogonal array (OA) design should be used.

The limitations on general full factorial designs are shown next. This information is applicable to designs with standard response data, R-DOE and robust parameter designs.
