MSI Report Window
For systems and powerplant analysis, MPC gives a choice of three different reporting formats that are commonly used in industry for the systems and powerplant analysis reports that can be submitted to the ATA Maintenance Review Board (MRB): Standard, Dassault and Sukhoi.
To open the MSI Report window, select one maintenance significant item (MSI) in the system hierarchy and then choose Systems > Reports > MSI Report.
Select Report Format
Choose one of the three predefined report formats: Standard, Dassault or Sukhoi. In addition,
- Create Tasks report only generates a report that only shows a summary of the maintenance tasks.
- Include MSG Revision in Headers shows the MSG-3 Guidelines version (selected in the Project Properties) in the report header. This only applies for the Standard and Sukhoi templates.
Standard Format Options
These options are applicable only when using the Standard report format.
- Create List of Effective Pages report includes a page at the beginning of the report that lists all the forms in the report and the pages they start on.
- Create Task Data Sheet report (One per Task) includes the full task details for each task at the end of the report.
Dassault Report Format
These options are applicable only when using the Dassault report format.
- Use standard format logo displays the standard MPC logo on the reports instead of the Dassault logo in the Dassault report.
- Use Reference field value instead of ATA number on Data Sheet A uses an item's Reference field value instead of its ATA number in the Dassault report's Data Sheet A.
Standard and Dassault Format Logo
These options display a logo in the document header when using either the Standard or the Dassault report format.
- Select Logo allows you to import a *.bmp, *dib, *.gif, *.jpg, *.wmf, *.emf, *.ico or *.cur graphic. Note that the logo will be scaled down to a maximum size of 150 x 75.
- No Report Logo displays no logo on the printed report.
- Default Logo displays the default MPC graphic that was shipped with the application.
When you click Generate Report, specify the pathname/filename where the report file will be saved, and then click Save.
