Configurable Options for Systems and Powerplant Analysis

For some of the item and task properties in aircraft systems and powerplant analysis, you have the option to decide whether the field will be displayed in the interface.

To open the Configurable Options for Systems and Powerplant Analysis window, make sure the System Hierarchy tab has focus then choose Systems > Tools > Configurable Options.

(In a secure database, this option is only available for users with the "Manage MPC settings" permission.)

In the Visible column for each property, click inside the cell to toggle between Yes and No.

Note: If a property that is hidden in the interface appears in one of the predefined report formats (e.g., Standard, Dassault or Sukhoi), the label will still appear in the report but it will not contain any data.

Select the Require time units for 'MTBF' and 'MTBUR' properties check box if you want to enter time units with the historical and predicted MTBF (mean time before/between failure) and MTBUR (mean time between unscheduled removals) fields. This makes it easier to review and sort the data in the reports.

If you click the Set as default for future databases button, the application will save the settings to the MPCDefaults.mpd22 file on your computer (C:\User\USERNAME\My Documents\ReliaSoft\MPC22). Any new databases that you create from this computer will use these saved customized settings by default.
