Importing and Exporting Custom Derating Standards
When you create a custom derating standard, that standard is automatically saved within the database. You can then use the import and export features to create copies of the standard among databases, if desired.
To access the import or export windows, open the Custom Derating Standards Manager window (File > Manage Database > Custom Derating Standards Manager), and then click either the Import icon or the Export icon .
Importing a Custom Derating Standard
In the Import Derating Standard window, you can select to either import from another database (*.rsr21 or *.rserp) or import a derating standard file from an older version of Lambda Predict (*.lp3ds).
If you select to import from another database, the next window will display a list of all the custom derating standards available in that database. Select the standard(s) you wish to import and then click Next to complete the import process.
In both cases, a copy of each selected derating standard will be imported and saved within the current database. You can then edit the imported standard by adding new models, as well as editing or deleting existing models. Any changes you make will apply only to the copy of the standard saved with the current database. It will not affect the *.lp3ds files or derating standards saved in other databases.
Exporting a Custom Derating Standard
In the Export Derating Standard window, select a destination database (*.rsr21 or *.rserp) from the drop-down list or click the Browse icon to browse for the database.
When you click Next, the window displays a list of the custom derating standards available in the current database. Select the standard(s) you wish to export and click Next. A copy of each selected derating standard will be exported and saved within the destination database.
