MOD
Description: Returns the remainder from division. The result has the same sign as the divisor.
Syntax: MOD(Number, Divisor)
- Number is the number for which you want to find the remainder.
- Divisor is the number by which you want to divide Number.
Remarks:
- Divisor cannot be 0.
- The MOD function can be expressed in terms of the INT function:
MOD(n, d) = n - d*INT(n/d)
- When used in an event analysis flowchart, the parameters must evaluate to numerical values. They can include:
-
Numerical values
-
Standard operands (+, -, *, /)
-
Predefined mathematical functions (exp, log, sin, etc.)
