General Summary Results

Results for PFS diagrams are shown in worksheets in the Results Explorer. This topic and the topics that follow discuss the available worksheets.

The General Summary worksheet for PFS diagrams presents an overview of the simulation settings and system cost results.

• Simulation Summary
  • Diagram: The name of the diagram that was simulated.
  • Simulation Start Time: The date and time that the simulation process began.
  • Simulation Duration: The total amount of time that the simulation process took.
  • End Time: The simulation end time, as defined in the Process Flow Simulation window.
  • Number of Simulations: The total number of simulations that were performed on the system, as defined in the Process Flow Simulation window.
  • Seed Value: The seed value, if any, as defined in the Process Flow Simulation window.
  • Number of Threads: The number of threads used during the simulation.
  • Average Number of Steps per Simulation: The average number of steps in each simulation, based on the Step Interval defined in the Process Flow Simulation window and the events encountered during the simulation.
• Excluded Tasks displays a count of excluded tasks, if you have chosen to exclude task types from the simulation.
• System Cost Summary displays the same information that is displayed in the System Costs worksheet.
